Naraya Suryo Sulisto
Chairman

Mr. Naraya Suryo Sulisto has over 10 years of experience in mining, plantation and infrastructure projects in Indonesia along with a strong understanding of the needs of multiple stakeholders from the business, government and public sectors.

Mr. Naraya Sulisto serves as the President Commissioner of MEC Coal’s Indonesian project companies, namely PT Tekno Orbit Persada, PT Trans Kutai Kencana and PT Trans Kutai Bahari.

In his new role as the President Commissioner, Naraya Sulisto will provide strategic guidance, management expertise and direction in ensuring that the development of MEC Coal’s project in East Kalimantan meets projected targets. Under Mr. Naraya Sulisto’s leadership MEC Coal will scale up its operations in line with its long term investment commitments in Indonesia.

Mr. Naraya Sulisto is an active member of KADIN (Indonesia Chamber of Commerce) and is currently serving as the Vice Chairman of the Indonesia-India Bilateral Committee.

Madhu Koneru
Executive Vice Chairman

As Executive Vice Chairman, Mr. Koneru leads pioneering investments in Indonesia. He is also the Group Executive Director of Trimex Group, a global minerals and metals conglomerate in UAE and Member of Board of Directors of Alghanim Industrial company in Kuwait. Mr. Koneru is a member of Clinton Global Initiative and World Economic Forum. His vision of MEC Coal will transform East Kalimantan into a model province for future Indonesia.

Naser Bustami
Director

Naser Bustami is the Board Director and General Manager of four government-owned companies in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK), the northernmost Emirate of the United Arab Emirates, namely Stevin Rock, RAK Rock, RAK Ports and RAKNor (concrete block manufacturer). Combined, the companies have a yearly turnover in excess of US$ 400 million and a workforce of more than 3000 employees.

Mr Bustami has a 23-year service record providing technical and commercial management services to numerous multi-billion Dollars projects in the UAE, GCC and the Indian-subcontinent.

Mr. Bustami is also a Board Member at Ras Al Khaimah Investment and Development Office IDO (the financial arm of RAK Government); the Ras Al Khaimah Investment Authority RAKIA; Taylor De Jongh (international independent investment banking firm), Washington DC; and German Emirati Joint Council for Industry & Commerce (AHK).

Mr. Bustami holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, USA, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Leicester University in Leicester, England, UK. Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Strategic Management from Sydney Business School, Wollongong University, Australia – anticipated completion by Dec 2014.

Deepak Kohli
Director

Prior to joining MEC Coal, Mr. Kohli held various Global and Regional positions at the Capital Markets business in Standard Chartered Bank.

He was the Global Head, DCM from 2006 to 2009 and was also deeply involved in MENA and South Asia as the Regional Head for all Capital Markets products, including Bonds, Securitizations, Convertibles, Private Financing and Loan Syndications.

Mr. Kohli brings considerable experience of large scale finance and delivering investor returns. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
